The last two days we have been busy and pretty productive! Nine Patch we began a new series of stories. Today we focused on finding specific vocabulary words in the context and answering yes and no questions about the passage. Bear's Paw We have been using the computer site "Samson's Sight Words" Both kids really like it and it is another way to drill those same ol' words! We continue to read "Dan the Tan Man" and fluency is really picking up. Bowtie We have added reading a thermometer, writing a question for a story problem and reviewed telling time as well as the regular stuff. Card Trick We learned how to identify prime and composite numbers. It was fun! Bachelor's Puzzle We wrote about what name we'd pick if we could change ours. Mostly we decided we like our names. Churn Dash We are doing end of the book activities for Runaway Ralph. Compass Star We are learning to use a multiplication chart and write a multiplication problem from a repeated addition problem. Flying Geese Only one more story in the current book! Today Carlos' robot made an unusual sandwich.
