Welcome back after Spring Break! I hope you got some time to relax!
This is what we worked on today.
Nine Patch - worked on identifying main idea, took a vocabulary test, worked on using words with variant endings in sentences - should we use walk or walked?
Bear's Paw - We spent quite a bit of time today with "bossy e". We also read "Dan the Tan Man".
Bowtie - we worked on adding 10; identifying elapsed time with dates; counting money using touchpoints; illustrating a word problem ans solving it; and adding doubles.
Card Trick - We worked on identifying factors and multiples and knowing the difference.
Bachelor's Puzzle - worked on picture comprehension and formulating a story using the pictures.
Churn Dash - finished reading the book "Runaway Ralph"
Compass Star - We missed one of our students today :( The group finished testing on graphs and began the multiplication chapter.
Flying Geese - read "The Missing Coats". If all goes well this week we will finish the Carlos book. We also worked on possessives, synonyms, comprehension and main idea.

Shirlee---I like this idea. I think that this is an appropriate method of communicating to your fellow educators what you're doing in your classroom with the students that we share.
